August 30, 2017 – The City of Blue Ash is pleased to release the upcoming fall schedule for its increasingly popular Creative & Performing Arts Series. The series strives to provide free, family-friendly events and programming for all ages.  

In-Step - Cincinnati Ballet:

Enjoy a 50 minute In-Step program featuring an interactive demonstration with the Cincinnati Ballet Second Company. Dancers provide an exciting peek into the typical day in the life of a professional ballet dancer, and perform excerpts from classical repertoire on-site at Summit Park. This interactive, fun and educational experience teaches the basics of dance, encourages movement and exercise all wrapped into an eye-catching program.

Cat in the Hat – TCT on Tour:

Everyone’s favorite cat comes to mischievous life in this theatrical adaptation of the Dr. Seuss classic. From the moment his tall, red-and-white striped hat appears around the door, Sally and her brother know that The Cat in the Hat is the funniest, most mischievous cat that they have ever met. With the trickiest of tricks and the craziest of ideas, he is certainly loads of fun.

Watercolor and Nature with Cheryl Pannabecker – Creative Aging Cincinnati:

Cheryl uses natural materials associated with the season. She will help participants arrange objects on watercolor paper to create a composition and participants will use watercolor pencils and paints to make colorful paintings, accenting and responding to the shapes and patterns in their pictures.

Movie Night at Summit Park:

Bring your blankets and comfortable chairs up to Summit Park for an outdoor movie experience! Movies will begin at dusk (approx. 8PM). Due to movie licensing, we are unable to provide the movie titles. Please enjoy our trivia and try to guess the movie. Friday, September 29: In this 2016 live action film, an orphaned boy who, guided by his animal guardians, sets out on a journey of self-discovery while evading a very threatening tiger.
